Public swimming and bathing pools are a popular place to go for leisure activities, and not just in summer. Section 37 of the Infection Protection Act requires that swimming and bathing pool water in public pools must not be harmful to health, in particular due to pathogens. DIN 19643 regulates chemical, chemical-physical and microbiological requirements to ensure this.
The water quality of natural bathing waters (such as flowing waters and lakes) must also be checked regularly. Since in this case it is not treated water, other parameters are used to assess the water quality than in pool water. Minimum requirements for the quality of such bathing waters are regulated by the EU with the EC Directive 2006/7/EC.
We are accredited for the parameters from DIN 19643 and EC RL 2006/7 and trained for sampling of bathing water. We are happy to support you in the implementation of DIN 19634 and the recommendations of the Federal Environment Agency and offer you an attractive range of services in this area.
