Workplace measurements and indoor air quality

We are accredited by the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS) as a measuring body for the performance of hazardous substance measurements and as a measuring body for the assessment of indoor air pollutants.

Nowadays, we spend a large part of our time indoors. Indoor air quality thus has a considerable influence on our health and well-being in working and living spaces. According to the WHO, more than a hundred thousand compounds are now considered "environmentally relevant" with concerns for negative health effects. Therefore, protecting our health from environmental air pollution is one of our most urgent tasks. 

In industrial and commercial operations, we analyse and sample hazardous substances that are relevant under labour law and prepare our measurement reports in accordance with the requirements of TRGS 402. If the minimum requirements for workplaces are not met in this context, we support you in developing solutions.

With sensitive and high-resolution measurement technology, we can detect even the lowest concentration of pollutants in office areas, schools and homes and identify and prevent possible health hazards at an early stage. Our VOC screening identifies solvents outgassing from adhesives, paints, wall or floor coverings and building materials. Our emission test chamber procedure makes it possible to identify sources of volatile organic compounds. By means of MVOC, spore and particle measurements, we can detect mould and bacteria contamination in indoor spaces. Tests for asbestos or artificial mineral fibres round off our range of work.
