Physicochemical parameters

Within the scope of registration for the active agent and the product, standardised, internationally accepted test procedures are specified in order to estimate the handling of substances during transport and storage and also during use. These investigations are conducted in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).

SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS specialises in test procedures to estimate the environmental properties of substances and formulations. This includes examining sorption properties on soils and sediments, storage stability, photolysis stability and hydrolysis stability in aqueous media at different pH values.

SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS works together with other GLP laboratories within the SGS Group or with specialised institutions in the area of technical safety tests (e.g. explosiveness).

Our range of services:
  • Hydrolysis in relation to pH

  • Sorption on soils and sediment

  • Determination of photolytic stability

  • Physicochemical characterisation of active agents and products

  • Stability under storage conditions
