Studies on agricultural livestock are required if there are high levels of residue in their feed. These studies enable an estimation to be made of the possible exposure of consumers when they eat animal products. The residues in eggs, milk, meat and various tissues and organs of cattle and poultry are recorded.
SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS conducts these studies in collaboration with facilities that have specialised in the breeding of livestock; this includes tests on animal drugs, hormones and feed additives. |
