The complexity of national and international food legislation, maintenance of supplier-customer relationships and fulfilment of consumer protection requirements and the consumer confi-dence that goes along with this pose increasingly difficult challenges to the food producing industry.
Under the aspect of "Trust is okay but knowledge is better" SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS sees itself as a partner of food producers at all levels of creation and processing. We perform examina-tions and assessments of the operating processes for food producers, food retailers as well as catering companies, restaurants and hotels on their own premises.

As an accredited partner in accordance with DIN EN 45011, SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS especially audits hygiene, HACCP and quality management systems.

OUR RANGE OF SERVICES:

Hygiene monitoring in the large kitchen area:
  • Detailed recording of the actual status on site in regard to personnel hygiene, production and product hygiene, HACCP as well as constructional conditions including equipment

  • Quality of cleaning and disinfection measures

  • Verification of the HACCP system by means of microbiological environmental and food tests

  • Hygiene training in large kitchen operations


Auditing food producers:
  • Detailed recording of the actual status on site in regard to personnel hygiene, production and product hygiene, HACCP, training level of employees, quality management and condition of the building

  • Long-term qualification of suppliers


Auditing according to the Inter-national Food Standard:
  • Certification in line with the requirements of the IFS
