Fast detection of micro-organisms

  

Time is an important factor for quality control of raw materials, production processes and consumer goods in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. This also applies to sensitive areas such as public swimming pools, hotels, cafeteria kitchens, catering companies and hospitals.
Modern biochemical and molecular-biological assays can provide fast detection of hygiene-related bacteria within four to 24 hours and thereby reduce production and storage costs. It is also possible to quickly localise contamination sources.

SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS offers a one-stop solution for all quick test methods to customers who require fast results for their quality control needs. Our experts ensure that the correct choice among the available immunochemical (e.g., ELISA) or molecular-biological assays (PCR, gene-probes) yields the optimal solution for each individual problem.
