Round robin test are the basis for the comparability of analytical results cross laboratories. As part of a co-operation with Monsanto SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS compared methods for the detection of Glyphosate and AMPA (metabolites of Glyphosate) from 30 laboratories all over Europe. As a major difference to the classical round robin exercise the participants were requested to use their validated laboratory specific method for the analysis of the residues in ground and surface water. The organisation of the study the preparation of the specimen and the evaluation of the methods and the residue results were conducted by SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS. SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS has methods established and validated for the analysis of pesticides and metabolites in water.
