The CeBIT is the worldwide biggest convention to present digital solutions of communication and information technologies for the daily life. Target groups are Users of Industry, Trade, Work craft, Financial Systems, Service industries, Administration and Science.
As a result, SGS E&E Germany presents its worldwide network and international services.
SGS allows visitors to test their products if they are RoHS-conform (RoHS; 2002/95/EC – Restriction of the use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical & Electronic Equipment). The SGS group is the leading provider according to RoHS-Analysis and RoHS-Certifications.
The division Electrical & Electronics includes 24 accredited Laboratories worldwide and 1.000 specialists within this area of activity.
Up from the 1st of July 2006 all electrical and electronically products within the EU have to correspondent the new guidelines.
A team of experts attend the testing of products concerning RoHS-conformation.
Moreover the department Electrical & Electronics presents as well the range Wireless Technology Testing. SGS informs especially about the newest Wi-Fi testing (WPA2) as well as technical testing- and certification possibilities with mobile telecommunication. Furthermore SGS presents the services for Microelectronics. Technology relevant and laboratory analytic solutions are offered. The performance contain the failure- and damage analysis, the intake control, the process monitoring, the production monitoring, the reverse engineering, the technology development as well the outsourcing of labour activities.
