Analyses in microbiology and food chemistry laboratories must increasingly deal with factors such as analytical competence, reliability, speed and cost efficiency. Molecular biological methods have long been used in these facilities for specific detection of the genetic information of bacteria, plants (as well as GMO) and animals.

In hybridisation techniques, such as PCR assays or other in situ methods, specific (genetic) probes react with the desired target sequences (nucleic acid sequences). These target sequences become detectable by means of additional signal amplification. The CC BioServices provides its customers with competent information about hybridisation techniques.
